- Central Universities: All 47 central universities that participated previously continue to do so, with no removals this year.
- State Universities: 27 state universities remain on the list, while 15 institutions have opted out.
- Deemed Universities: 22 deemed universities are participating, whereas 13 have been dropped.
- Private Universities: Out of the total, 102 private universities are accepting CUET UG 2025 scores, but 75 private institutions have withdrawn.
- Other Government Institutions: 7 government-funded institutions are on board this year, with 3 having exited the list.
